UGreen has been making accessories for smartphones, laptops, and tablets for quite a while now. The company has recently launched the all-new UGreen Wireless Car Charger and we will be looking at it in this in-depth review.
With more and more smartphones coming with wireless charging built-in, it’s no surprise that third-party manufacturers like UGreen are coming up with such innovative products.
The UGreen Wireless Car Charger supports fast wireless charging and has pleasing aesthetics. It supports Qi Wireless Charging Standard which means it will work with the majority of the phones including the iPhone X, Samsung Galaxy Note 7/8/9, Galaxy S7/S8/S9, LG G6, LG G7 and also the upcoming Pixel 3 XL.

There are so many fast wireless car chargers out there, choosing a good one isn’t all that easy. And the fact that all of them carry the key specs makes things even harder. But luckily, when you have a look at this UGreen Car Wireless Charger, you really won’t go searching for another car charger.
The design of this wireless charger is quite modern and all the people I showed it to, they loved it! It isn’t very bold or disturbing but at the same time, when you look at it, you immediately know it’s a premium product.
Ease of Use
This is where the UGreen Fast Wireless Car Charger really shines. While other car chargers are fiddly to use, this one is really convenient to use.
The company is using Gravity Linkage mechanism which lets you dock the phone to the wireless charger and remove it using just one hand.
The charger has its hinges open wide when there’s no phone in it. As soon as you place the phone on the charger, the hinges close securing the phone. The country that I live in has pretty bad roads and the wireless charger held up really well.
I own the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and the LG G7 ThinQ and both of them support fast charging wirelessly. To test the performance of the Ugreen Wireless Car Charger, I first charged my phone from 0 to 100 percent first using the adaptive wired charger and cable that came in the box (I am testing the Note 9 here).
Next day, I charged the Note 9 from 0 to 100 percent using the Anker Fast Wireless Charger. I did the same the next day but with the Ugreen Wireless Car Charger this time around. And here are my results:
|Charger Name||Samsung Fast Adaptive Charger||Anker Powerport Wireless 10||UGreen Wireless Car Charger|
|Charging Time||1 hour 45 minutes||2 hour 15 minutes||2 hour 10 minutes|
|Heat Generated||Low||Moderate||Low (with A/C of the car on)|
High (with A/C of the car off)

The price of UGreen Car Wireless Charger varies from store to store. I was able to get the charger for under $15 on ‘Singles Day sale’ at Aliexpress. You can check out the most recent price of the charger by clicking here.
Verdict: UGreen Wireless Car Charger – Should you buy it?
Yes, and yes! If you can get this wireless charger for under $20, it’s a steal. If you live in the US, you should be familiar with Anker, right? Well, UGreen is the Anker of China. If you are fine with buying from a Chinese website that resides outside of the US, close your eyes and get this wireless car charger.
It is reliable and charges the phone really fast. Above it, it’s really easy to mount the phone in and remove it. Also, the sides of the grip are padded which means your phone is never scratched while it is in the cradle.
