Yes, you heard it right! GATEHUB starts charging huge Despoit fees. The new fees for depositing Etherum and BitCoin is really high.
As you can see in the screenshot above, the minimum deposit is 0.05236 ETH and the Deposit fee is 0.02618ETH which translates to $38 in today’s exchange rate of the Etherum.
And if you are to deposit Bitcoin to the GATEHUB account, you will have to roughly pay $20 as additional fees just for depositing the BitCoin to your GATEHUB account. The deposit fee of 0.00169 BTC is a little over the top, in my opinion.
Just a day ago, as it stood out, the Deposit fee for both Etherum and Bitcoin was 0.0000. And all of the sudden, we get to see this change. It’s really disappointing that GATEHUB made this change.
GATEHUB Review: Worth keeping all your coins here?
GATEHUB was supposed to be the official wallet for storing Ripple but things aren’t looking too good. This is not the first time we face the disappointment.
It’s been a few months since GATEHUB hasn’t responded back to the 5 Tickets I have opened so far.
Also, users report that they are not being able to verify their account. On their website, it says it may take up to 10 days for the account verification so that they can deposit money directly from their bank.
But when a ticket is sent regarding the account verification, an automated E-Mail saying “It may take up to 20 days for the account verification” is sent out.
Not only that, the users have complained that they have lost all the coins in their wallet and have not heard back from Gatehub regarding their loss.
It is understandable that the company is having a hard time handling all the traffic but they should at least reply back to their customers. If this is how things are going to be, investing in the cryptocurrency market is going to be really scary.
